Blues on the Rocks was formed in April 2004, by four life time musicians, two from the band – The Dynamics– Bruce Manly (lead vocals, rhythm guitar and harmonica), Sam Bradford (lead guitar extraordinaire), and two from the band Overnight, Greg Shook (bass guitar and vocals) and the late Ed Lepore (drums). Gary Parrington (drums) from the band The Side Doors, joined the band in March 2010.

All of the band members share a passion for the blues and classic rock music.

They have been entertaining audiences of all ages along the CT shoreline in clubs, concerts, private parties and civic events for non-profit organizations for many years. They enjoy bringing their dynamic and enthusiastic mix of Blues, R&B, Motown and Rock to music lovers and dancers!
